From the FIRE trial, physiology-guided complete revascularization had a lower 1-year event risk than PCI of the responsible lesion alone in MI patients over 75 years of age with multivessel disease. Dr. Simone Biscaglia of Azienda Ospedaliero Universitaria di Simone Biscaglia of Ferrara, Italy, and colleagues reported in the September 7 issue of The New England Journal of Medicine.
